My name is Chris. I'm a husband, a proud father of three, and a country boy at heart, raised in Graham, WA. My dad moved our family there when we were young, after serving in the Vietnam War and overcoming cancer. He purchased a sawmill and settled down to provide for his family, not just as a business, but as a labor of love. Watching him work with such passion and dedication sparked my own interest in carpentry. Though I was more interested in playing as a kid, I often helped out at the mill, absorbing the skills and knowledge that would later shape my own path.
Inspired by my father’s passion, I took what he taught me and started my own business. Now, that same dedication drives me as I provide for my own family. In 2016, I lost my dad to cancer, but I’m forever grateful for the time we spent together and the lessons he taught me. I’m proud to carry on his legacy, not just through our shared work, but through the support of my own family.
What began as a hobby to earn a little extra for my family has grown into a thriving business. The opportunity to do what I love, while sharing my work with families around the world, is something I’m truly grateful for.
As a self-employed dad, my goal has always been to provide top-quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price. I believe that everyone should have access to beautiful, rustic, reclaimed items that add character to their home. That’s why I strive to keep my prices affordable while maintaining the highest standards of quality. I love seeing the projects my customers create with my products, and I’m proud to feature their DIY work on my Instagram (@ckfabricationllc) and Etsy shop.
